Ceramic flange types:

According to the fixed way of flange and pipe, can be divided into thread flange, welding flange, loose sleeve flange; according to the form of sealing surface, it can be divided into smooth type, concave convex type, tenon groove type, lens type and trapezoidal groove type. Generally, low-pressure small diameter flange is used, while high-pressure and low-pressure large-diameter welding flange is used. The thickness of flange plate and the diameter and number of connecting bolts are different under different pressures.

Function characteristics and application method of Ceramic flange:

Ceramic flange is a part of pipe to pipe connection. The main features of connection are easy disassembly, high strength and good sealing performance. When installing the flange, the two flanges should be kept parallel according to the requirements, and the sealing surface of the flange should not be damaged and cleaned. Ceramic flange gasket should be selected according to the design requirements.

Connect to tube end. There are holes on the ceramic flange, which can be threaded with bolts to make the two flanges tightly connected. The ceramic flange is sealed with gasket. Ceramic flange fittings refer to the fittings with flange (flange or adapter). It can be cast, threaded or welded. A flange (joint) is composed of a pair of flanges, a gasket and a number of bolts and nuts. The gasket is placed between the two flange sealing surfaces. After tightening the nut, the specific pressure on the gasket surface reaches a certain value, which will cause deformation and fill the uneven parts on the sealing surface, so that the connection is tight. Some pipe fittings and equipment have their own flange, also belong to flange connection. Ceramic flange connection is an important connection mode in pipeline construction.

Ceramic flange connection is easy to use and can bear large pressure. Zirconia ceramic flange connection is widely used in industrial pipeline. In the home, the pipe diameter is small, and is low pressure, Ceramic flange connection is not visible. If in a boiler room or production site, there are zirconia ceramic flange pipes and equipment everywhere. Generally speaking, the function of ceramic flange is to make the pipe joint fixed and sealed.
